“Can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 stars     Reviewed September 1, 2011      We lucked up and had Winston take care of us. The nachos were awesome, the fried okra was the most fresh I had ever eaten, and my husband said those were the best ribs he had eaten in a long, long time. We will definitely eat here again the next time we stay in the area!

"This is a locals bar/hang out that has a full-bar and serves cajun/creole food along with the usual bar food.

They have a store attached where they sell stuff and also artisanal sodas and hard to find soft drinks - Cheerwine!

I had a cup of red beans and rice with sausage and a Cheerwine for lunch. It was mostly rice with 2 small pieces of sausage. It was tasty but could have been more generous on the sausage and beans. My tab was $5.66 and I got some directions and driving tips from a local man. I especially liked the sign by the kitchen that read: "You don't have to be crazy to work here, we train you."
There's outdoor seating on the patio and the waitresses were nice and friendly. They also had a lot of interesting looking beers, but I was driving so I hopped up on the Cheerwine instead."

"Best brisket I have ever had. Locals like it here."
