Steven G - Boone:
Great atmosphere, pizza, and beer. The wine selection was very limited but what they offer seems to be good. At least the Wine to Water Zinfandel that I had was very good. My wife loved the beer selection. The service from Sarah was also excellent.

New location very nice! Have to say that you need to get there early as the lines start forming quickly. I guess that tells you how great the food and atmosphere are though!

Nancy A - Charlotte, NC:
Each Mellow Mushroom we've visited has it's own feel, and the Boone location was no exception. Great soaring space with a central gas fireplace sort of dividing the bar side from the restaurant side. The rock-climbing mushroom scaling the wall is an amusing bit of kitsch in the otherwise lovely ski-resort-feeling restaurant. Pizza was great, tomato bisque was good though not my favorite. Desserts were just what my son wanted (chocolate and ice cream featured in at least a couple).

Mike D - Banner Elk, NC:
Been a fan for years and eat here often. My family loves the pizza, cheese bread, and the salads are great with their own special blend of dressings.

I'd highly recommend paying Mellow a visit. It's always great food and the wait staff are personable, fast and efficient. Occasionally on BUSY weekends for App games or good snows this place can get crowded quick.

Visited more than 100 times over the years!

Tania B - Atlanta, GA:
I've been to a few Mellows in Columbia, South Carolina as well as here in Georgia. All are good and all seem to produce the same good pizzas. I have to say that I have always liked visiting the old Boone location off of Rivers Street. I was disappointed that they closed that location even though it was in a small strip mall kind of place. However after visiting the new King Street location I am happier than ever. Been to two App games this season and ate there both times. LOVE the place. Wouldn't go anywhere else for my calzone and beer fix!

A fan!
